Amanda has been an Account Executive at Palmer Group for more than two years and has been in recruitment for nearly 10. Amanda enjoys consulting with hiring managers and HR professionals on their staffing needs, employee retention, and sharing market data for the Des Moines employment scene. In her freetime, Amanda enjoys working out at Krave Gym, reading books and watching movies, and spending time with her two sons.

My name is Lisa! With over two decades of experience in the lending industry, I am a seasoned Mortgage Loan Officer who knows the ins and outs of the business. My passion for helping people achieve their dream of homeownership has only grown stronger over the years. From navigating the highs and lows of the market to conquering the ever-changing regulations I have faced it all with a smile and an unwavering commitment to my clients. Twenty years ago Ben Buenzow got his insurance license, and the rest is history…. Just kidding! A lot has happened in the last 20 years! Seventeen of those years Ben owned a captive insurance agency, while simultaneously becoming an expert in his field, and being recognized for his achievements along the way. Ben integrated himself into the Urbandale community serving on the Urbandale Chamber Board, and volunteering with the Urbandale Police Department. Six kids and a puppy later.  Ben realized the potential to help even more people! So in May 2021 Ben launched his own independent agency Buenzow Insurance Group.

Since 2024 she has served as the Program Coordinator for Money Follows the Person with the University of Iowa Health Care. Bryanne has been an active member of genYP since 2019 & serves on the genYP Leadership team. If she isn't working or at genYP, you can find Bryanne with her dog, Andy or catching a Cubs game!

Matt Nuetzman served on the Urbandale Chamber Board from 2012-2017 and was the 2016 Board Chair. In 2011, Matt helped launch the genYP Program and later served as genYP Chairperson, and has volunteered and led many Chamber programs since first joining in 2009. Matt is a Strategic Business Consultant at Paychex HR, a Human Resources services provider which the Urbandale Chamber offers a PEO Partner Program with. Matt is also a member of the Business Record's Forty Under 40 (2012), and he and his wife Sheena live in Urbandale with their 2 children.

Curvin has joined Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual Company, in August 2022 as a Sales Representative offering Personal & Casualty Insurance as well as Life Insurance. Comparion Insurance Agency helps individuals transfer the risks during life's most uncertain moments. Curvin's goal is to understand his customers needs and align them with the proper products and coverage they deserve; knowing their property and families are protected against uncertainty in the event of a loss. 

Hello, my name is Kris Klabunde, I am originally from Davenport, IA. I played baseball and studied business administration at Iowa Wesleyan University. For the previous 8 years, I was in construction sales. Now at Paychex, we partner with business owners to streamline the responsibilities of HR, Payroll, and Benefits. So, the business owner can focus on the growth of their company and taking care of the client. Excited for the opportunity to connect with you all!

As a Business Consultant with MMIT (formally M&M Sales and Imaging Technologies), I help our clients find a realistic approach to smooth out and improve their day-to-day. My services include helping people find practical solutions to everyday problems by offering cutting-edge IT solutions, printing equipment, and network solutions.

I recently moved back to the area after spending 9 years in Holland, Michigan. I am thrilled to be back in Iowa.  I work with corporations, organizations, and mid to small businesses as a donor relations manager with Food Bank of Iowa.  Food insecurity and hunger in Iowa is a real issue and I am passionate about finding ways to feed those in need in our communities.  I am a wife, mother, and "Mimi" to 6 incredible little boys and one precious little girl. My husband is a teacher in the Waukee school district. In my spare time, I work out at Farrell's FXB in Urbandale, read, cook and spend as much time outdoors as possible. Aaron Colyer comes to Raccoon Valley Bank offering over 10+ years of banking experience. He specializes in Business Banking to provide the best service to his clients. He takes pride in serving his community and exploring options to best suit each business’ needs. Lisa has been the Projector Coordinator at Iowa Sign Company for over 5 years. She graduated from Grand View University in 2009 with a B.A. in Graphic Design/Journalism. Before Grand View, she had 9 years experience in Sales & Marketing in the hotel industry. She is married to Timothy Hanrahan whom they share two children, Cailin (age 21) and Adilia (age 10) and resides in Des Moines. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, traveling, photography and designing. To keep her creative juices flowing, she does freelance design and photography.

I've lived in the metro area since 1996, having grown up in Waterloo. My career has spanned several industries, including Consumer Goods Retail and Distribution, Corporate Franchising and Sales, and more recently, Real Estate. Now, I'm excited to bring my experience and passion for customer service to the flooring industry.

As part of Carpet One Floor & Home of Iowa, a third-generation, 70+ year family-owned business, I focus on helping residential and commercial clients find high-quality and affordable flooring solutions. I offer EMBROIDERY services as gifts and for small businesses. I use Heat Transfer Vinyl for any fabric item such as T-shirts, baby bodysuits, pillow covers and even lawn chairs. I enjoy working with small business owners and using their logos to create items they need for their business such as Logos on apparel (Polo shirts, Jackets, Aprons & Hats). All items are completed by a handmade process by KSH Design Studio. I only use the highest quality materials found in the industry. This provides you, the customer with the best product for the money available. I provide the best customer service possible. I answer all emails as quickly as possible, the same day 99% of the time. I want all your questions answered to your satisfaction! In 2020 I received TSB Certification through the SBA.

Aisha grew up in Iowa (Clive and Urbandale).  Graduated from Drake University with double majors in Management and Marketing.   In 2004, unfortunate circumstances, brought her back to Iowa, from Dallas, TX.  In 2005 she earned her Real Estate License and in 2015 earned her Real Estate Broker License.  For 15 years she juggled her real estate career, along with working with her mother, Saloo, at the Downtown and Valley Junction Farmers Markets, selling Indian food (Saloo's India).   Since Saloo retired from the farmers market, Aisha has been able to focus solely on ONE full time job (being a REALTOR®) AND now she has quality time to network, take vacations...and just breathe. Aisha said, "I never thought I would ever be coming back to Iowa.  But having lived elsewhere, I can truly appreciate what all Iowa and it people have to offer; I am GRATEFUL TO BE HOME, IN IOWA."

I started Community Hand Up in an effort to bring fulfillment to my life. I raised 2 amazing kids by myself while living in poverty. I saw first hand how when we struggle there is not always someone there to give you a hand up. For me being able to make someone else's life a little bit easier is a round about way to make my life easier. There is nothing better than a hug or a thank you from someone who just wanted to feed/cloth their kids.  

I am really enjoying meeting business owners and feeling like a part of this community I have lived in off and on for almost 30 years.  

I also have a side gig selling wine. So if you are ever in need of a drink and a chat...I got you covered on both.

You learn to respect animals as they provide a food source and sometimes they were your best friend or even your county fair project. You’ll most likely master driving a stick shift by age 13! I hold a Bachelors of Science in Management and worked in the corporate world before pursuing my dream job in real estate. I excel in resolving challenges with innovative solutions to increase customer satisfaction. I strive to be the best full-service REALTOR by building a reputation of choosing the ethical way by my commitment to honesty and integrity for my clients. I have recently married late in life and we are looking forward to our twilight years!  Who knew camping could be this fun in a trailer!  My two kids are adulting now and it's quiet enough at home I'm actually getting some work done now that I am working out of a home office!  I am a huge sports nut so let me know if you ever want to go watch a game!

Some of the community service we offer include: register new residents as Urbandale Republicans, speak to groups about founding principles of Liberty, organize the Read the Declaration Ceremony at Lion's Park on Independence Day, organize the Republican Caucuses every two years, invite Urbandale Republican citizens to political events, encourage Urbandale Republican citizens to be informed voters.

Since 2004, Tiffany Menke, IOM, has been the President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the boards of and is a Past President/Past Chair of ICCE, CITR, and IMA.  She currently represents Iowa on the MACE Board of Directors and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Council through the Greater Des Moines Partnership as well as participates in a pilot program through the Evelyn K Davis center to mentor exoffenders.

In 2017, Tiffany was honored as a Woman of Influence through the Des Moines Business Record. Other honors include 40 under 40, and Ovation award from the Iowa Women's Foundation. She grew up in Newton and went on to Grand View University in Des Moines where she earned a degree in Mass Communications, Journalism and a minor in Photography.

Gina is a small town Iowa girl. Proud of her roots, she was born and raised on a farm. Her work ethic stems from the life her parents instilled in her and her 5 siblings. She was raised with strong Christian values and the belief she could accomplish anything if she put her mind to it. 
Gina has spent the majority of her professional career in hospitality and working in the community. It was in this industry she found her passion for management, leadership and most of all, working with people! This simple position led her into development with multiple well-known brands.
In her free time, Gina is family focused. Family time is spent with her husband, Bobby and daughter, Shae. They enjoy time on the deck, grilling and entertaining. 
 
 

I was born and raised in Hawkeye country- Iowa City! Go Hawks! While attending the University of Iowa, I was involved in many student organizations, where my passion for event coordinating began. After 5 years primarily in the wedding industry, I was ready to take on a different and new avenue of events, leading me to the Chamber world! I am dedicated to bringing impactful event opportunities to life for our community's professionals. 
When I’m not running around Urbandale, you might find me trying to keep my flower garden alive, in the kitchen cooking an extravagant meal, boating at the lake with my family, or at a country concert. A few of my favorite things include iced coffee, any form of pasta, cats, Kenny Chesney, and gnomes (solely because they’re cute).

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Sports and Recreation Management. The beginning part of my career has been spent working in the sports industry as a sales professional including for a few of the local Des Moines teams. I am looking forward to transitioning my career to serving my hometown and having a positive impact on the Urbandale community through the chamber! In my free time I enjoy spending it with my family, my girlfriend and our dog Suzie. 

Sheila and her family moved to Urbandale in 2001 and have lived here ever since. After ending a 20-year career with an insurance company, she started her own business. She joined the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce and became very involved in the community. She was on the Board of the Urbandale Community Action Network for many years. She is a graduate of Leadership Urbandale, Citizens Police Academy, and Citizens Fire Academy. In addition, she housed a Des Moines Buccaneer hockey player every year for seven years and volunteered to be the Housing Coordinator for the DM Bucs for five years. She received the Urbandale Citizen of the Year award in 2011. Sheila has a lot of experience in Office Management, Human Resources, Marketing, and Sales.
 
Sheila is married and has two grown sons; one is married with three children.
