I attended Wayne State College earning a bachelor's degree in finance in 2002. I earned Academic All-American honors and became an All-American in the 55m hurdles in 2001 running for the WSC Men's Track and Field Team. I began my career with Edward Jones in 2002 at the home office in St. Louis before assuming the Des Moines Metro financial advising position in 2004.

MedPharm Iowa opened its doors to patients in December 2018 and has been fortunate to serve over 5,000 patients from across Iowa since then. MedPharm prides itself on its unique approach to cannabis as medicine and is looking forward to serving both Iowans and the community of Windsor Heights for many years to come.

I've been a Painting Contractor for 30 years and this is the ONLY Full Time job that I've ever wanted or had.  I'm married to one wife Kim, for 23 years and have 3 kids, Ellie, Brooklynn and Jake.  I enjoy outdoor activities (skiing, snowmobiling, hunting, fishing, etc).  I'm active at our church, New Hope Assembly of God and in our local school (Des Moines Christian School) and community.  Personally. I enjoy helping others find solutions to their problems, which can have a decided benefit as a Painting Contractor.  Our family supports 6 kids in Uganda and works to expand our support to help others.

Edye rejoined the Chamber in 2019 as our Executive Director.  No stranger to the Des Moines community, she is a graduate of West Des Moines Leadership Academy and an active committee member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  She has run as Woman of the Year three times and was named 2016 All-Star of the Year for the society.  Edye was an active member of the West Des Moines Chamber, including serving on its board of directors.  As a member of the elite 40 under 40 group in Des Moines, she has learned the value of being an active member of your community and making your mark.  Currently, Edye is part of the 2020 'Big Wigs' campaign for Susan G. Koman Foundation of Iowa. 

Geoff started Gravitate in July 2013 to work with freelancers, entrepreneurs, and remote workers in the heart of downtown Des Moines. Geoff also hosts a podcast, speaks at conferences, organizes events and has been helping tell the story of the Iowa startup community since 2009.

Aaron began his kung fu training in Des Moines, IA in 1998.  He had the unique opportunity to study at the Shaolin Temple in China in 2002.  While in China he completed a training certification Grandmaster Liangyiquan. He has competed and placed in several international Chinese martial arts tournaments including the International Chinese Martial Arts Tournament in Florida in 2004 and the Chin Wu Association International Tournament in Texas in 2016 among others in Chicago and Des Moines. In 2011, he completed his Sifu certification with both Sifu Don Walth as well as Grandmaster Leung Shum.
