I'm your small business bestie, PEO-enthusiast, Chamber-event-attending friend! I started working at ConnectifyHR in October 2025, and while I'm new to the industry, I'm not new to the Urbandale Chamber. I've been a member for almost 5 years and love being a part of this group! 

ConnectifyHR is a PEO - professional employer organization which means that we help small to medium sized businesses with HR services, payroll, compliance, and employee benefits. We utilize a co-employer relationship to take some of the risk off of your business and give you more freedom and flexibility to work in your business. Matt Nuetzman served on the Urbandale Chamber Board from 2012-2017 and was the 2016 Board Chair. In 2011, Matt helped launch the genYP Program and later served as genYP Chairperson, and has volunteered and led many Chamber programs since first joining in 2009. Matt is a Strategic Business Consultant at Paychex HR, a Human Resources services provider which the Urbandale Chamber offers a PEO Partner Program with. Matt is also a member of the Business Record's Forty Under 40 (2012), and he and his wife Sheena live in Urbandale with their 2 children.

I’m a Registered Nurse (RN, BSN) and Clinical Director at Right at Home, dedicated to providing high-quality, compassionate care that helps people remain in their homes. I’ve been a nurse for nearly 25 years and graduated from Mercy College of Health Sciences with my Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Throughout my career, I’ve held a variety of leadership roles and worked across several areas of nursing, but my true passion has always been home care. I have a deep passion for advocating for and empowering people—whether it's helping patients understand their options, supporting families through challenges, or mentoring fellow nurses to reach their full potential. I love meeting new people and making meaningful connections through healthcare and education. It’s incredibly rewarding to work for a company that shares my mission of delivering compassionate, person-centered care that allows individuals to live with dignity, comfort, and independence.

After spending four years working in insurance & technology industries, Colton made the move to start a career in commercial real estate. Colton enjoys learning about business operations and building relationships along the way. When outside of the office, he attends many Iowa State football & basketball games with family and is always up for a round of golf.

KSH Design Studio creates personalized and custom gifts. I specialize in personalizing metal and glass items by mechanical etching. I love to do custom designs for our customers. I offer EMBROIDERY services as gifts and for small businesses. I use Heat Transfer Vinyl for any fabric item such as T-shirts, baby bodysuits, pillow covers and even lawn chairs. I enjoy working with small business owners and using their logos to create items they need for their business such as Logos on apparel (Polo shirts, Jackets, Aprons & Hats). All items are completed by a handmade process by KSH Design Studio. I only use the highest quality materials found in the industry. This provides you, the customer with the best product for the money available. I provide the best customer service possible. I answer all emails as quickly as possible, the same day 99% of the time. I started Community Hand Up in an effort to bring fulfillment to my life. I raised 2 amazing kids by myself while living in poverty. I saw first hand how when we struggle there is not always someone there to give you a hand up. For me being able to make someone else's life a little bit easier is a round about way to make my life easier. There is nothing better than a hug or a thank you from someone who just wanted to feed/cloth their kids.  

I am really enjoying meeting business owners and feeling like a part of this community I have lived in off and on for almost 30 years.  

 

Curvin has joined Comparion Insurance Agency, a Liberty Mutual Company, in August 2022 as a Sales Representative offering Personal & Casualty Insurance as well as Life Insurance. I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering Operations from Iowa State University. I have many years' experience working on senior management teams of companies to help make them more profitable and stronger companies. Lisa has been the Projector Coordinator at Iowa Sign Company for over 6 years. She graduated from Grand View University in 2009 with a B.A. in Graphic Design/Journalism. Before Grand View, she had 9 years experience in Sales & Marketing in the hotel industry. She is married to Timothy Hanrahan whom they share two children, Cailin (age 22) and Adilia (age 11) and resides in Des Moines. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with family, exercising, traveling, photography and designing. To keep her creative juices flowing, she does freelance design and photography.

I was born and raised in northern Illinois, but Iowa has been home since 1987, when I met my husband and started a new chapter here. As a volunteer for the Urbandale Republicans, I'm here to promote our core principles and purpose: "Advancing the principles of Liberty at the precinct level through the effective use of communication, organization, and influence". Some of the community service we offer include: register new residents as Urbandale Republicans, speak to groups about founding principles of Liberty, organize the Read the Declaration Ceremony at Lion's Park on Independence Day, organize the Republican Caucuses every two years, invite Urbandale Republican citizens to political events, encourage Urbandale Republican citizens to be informed voters.

Twenty years ago Ben Buenzow got his insurance license, and the rest is history…. Just kidding! A lot has happened in the last 20 years! Seventeen of those years Ben owned a captive insurance agency, while simultaneously becoming an expert in his field, and being recognized for his achievements along the way. Ben integrated himself into the Urbandale community serving on the Urbandale Chamber Board, and volunteering with the Urbandale Police Department. Six kids and a puppy later.  Ben realized the potential to help even more people! So in May 2021 Ben launched his own independent agency Buenzow Insurance Group.

Carla's early career led her to providing accounting work to diverse industries in various roles.  While none of it seemed to make sense at the time, all that experience flowed together nicely when she decided to start CFO Accounting Services. After working in large corporations and small businesses, she found the most satisfaction in helping small businesses.

Helping entrepreneurs and small business owners meet their goals and see their dreams come to fruition is a tremendous joy. Our greatest accomplishment is when a client needs to hire a full-time accountant for their business.

In her free time, Carla loves spending time with her family. With her first two children in college, most of her time is spent attending the in-season sport for the bonus child. 

I am person that has a passion to help every one to  have a great day and to see that they have a wonderful smile every day.

I graduated from the University of Iowa with a Bachelors in Sports and Recreation Management. The beginning part of my career has been spent working in the sports industry as a sales professional including for a few of the local Des Moines teams. I am looking forward to transitioning my career to serving my hometown and having a positive impact on the Urbandale community through the chamber! In my free time I enjoy spending it with my family, my girlfriend and our dog Suzie. 

Since 2004, Tiffany Menke, IOM, has been the President of the Urbandale Chamber of Commerce. She has served on the boards of and is a Past President/Past Chair of ICCE, CITR, and IMA.  She currently represents Iowa on the MACE Board of Directors and serves on the Diversity and Inclusion Council through the Greater Des Moines Partnership as well as participates in a pilot program through the Evelyn K Davis center to mentor exoffenders.

In 2017, Tiffany was honored as a Woman of Influence through the Des Moines Business Record. Other honors include 40 under 40, and Ovation award from the Iowa Women's Foundation. She grew up in Newton and went on to Grand View University in Des Moines where she earned a degree in Mass Communications, Journalism and a minor in Photography.

Kelly Troxel graduated from Iowa State University with a major in Marketing! With her background in marketing, event planning, and in the chamber industry, Kelly is excited to help in serving our mission by promoting and planning our events, communicating with members, and making sure you get your Chamber benefits!
In her free time, Kelly enjoys sewing (especially quilting), attending vintage and flea markets, gardening, and spending time with her family and friends.

Gina is a small town Iowa girl. Proud of her roots, she was born and raised on a farm. Her work ethic stems from the life her parents instilled in her and her 5 siblings. She was raised with strong Christian values and the belief she could accomplish anything if she put her mind to it. 
Gina has spent the majority of her professional career in hospitality and working in the community. It was in this industry she found her passion for management, leadership and most of all, working with people! This simple position led her into development with multiple well-known brands.
In her free time, Gina is family focused. Family time is spent with her husband, Bobby and daughter, Shae. They enjoy time on the deck, grilling and entertaining. 
 
 

Jen is an accomplished professional in the field of interior design, holding a Master of Arts degree from Iowa State University and is a Certified Kitchen & Bath Designer®. With her educational background and research in environmental psychology, she has a deep understanding of how the design of a space can influence and enhance the well-being of its occupants.

She is a Designers Today “40 Under 40” honoree, and her work has been featured on Hello Iowa! with WHO13, DSM Magazine, and the International Builders’ Show. She also serves as a Chapter Officer for the National Kitchen & Bath Association and is a graduate of the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses program.
