What you will do:
- Deliver excellent customer service and support to internal and external stakeholders
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and peripherals
- Resolve issues and provide technical support to staff and clients via phone, e-mail, and in-person
- Train and educate staff on the use of hardware and software, which includes network security
- Assist with network administration tasks, which include the setup and maintenance of user accounts and permissions
- Perform regular systems updates and backups, plus support the day-to-day operations of our computer network
- Evaluate scheduled reports and document technical issues and solutions for future reference
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or related field
- A minimum of 3 years of experience as an IT Support Specialist or similar role
- Relevant certifications (ex, CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong knowledge of computer systems, networks, and software applications
- Familiarity with information security practices and procedures to protect the organization's data from intrusion or corruption
- Familiarity with various operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux)
- Knowledge of network security and data backup/recovery
