Description: When people problems arise at work, we have choices. We can manage troublesome situations the way many people do and ignore them. Or we can make a conscious choice to effectively confront issues, even when the situation is uncomfortable. In this 90-minute session, we'll look at the root causes of conflict and examine your role in dealing with conflict. Finally, we'll show you how to conduct a difficult conversation that leads to improved relationships and increased productivity. In this session, participants will:

Libby comes to ATW after spending over eight years in the banking industry, starting in front-line operations and moving to management and training. Libby brings experience in different training topics including, but not limited to, supervision and management, customer service, communication skills, workplace etiquette, and sales. Libby holds a bachelor's degree from Simpson College an a master's degree in Adult Learning and Organizational Performance from Drake University. In addition to her role at ATW, Libby coaches speech at Nevada High School. Libby is a member of the Central Iowa Chapter of the Association for Talent Development an serves on the membership committee. |
