Per Mar Security Services Announces LiveShield, The Line You Don’t Cross

DAVENPORT, Iowa – Formerly known as Live Video Monitoring, Per Mar Security Services proudly announces the  official launch of LiveShield. As the security industry evolves and surveillance technology grows more advanced, Per Mar is introducing this new identity to signal a new era of monitoring and protection.

This update reinforces security as a tool that is intelligent and responsive, creating a sense of protection that is always engaged, aware, and ready to respond. Similar to the Live Video Monitoring services, LiveShield services include security cameras that are monitored 24/7 by professional Monitoring Center Agents, providing customers with complete proactive protection.

A new feature of LiveShield are Mobile Solar Trailers. These solar-powered units provide reliable, around-the-clock monitoring for construction sites, special events, parking lots, remote locations, and more. Using advanced video technology and AI detection, these trailers help deter crime and reduce false alarms, all without the need for a permanent structure.

Powered by solar energy with a built-in backup battery, LiveShield Mobile Solar Trailers operate around the clock without the need for an external power source, providing the flexibility to place and move them wherever security is needed.

The video verification process used in LiveShield security cameras has been shown to significantly reduce response time. By using live video feeds to confirm the presence of an intruder, Per Mar Monitoring Center Agents provide law enforcement with accurate, real-time information, ensuring that critical incidents receive priority.

The LiveShield name not only represents the service products, but it is a stated position of surveillance defense. “Live” introduces immediacy, awareness, and human presence, while “Shield” communicates protection, defense, and the idea of a visible boundary that should not be crossed. Service for customers who currently have Live Video Monitoring will not be affected as Per Mar completes its transition from Live Video Monitoring to LiveShield. No action from customers is needed as part of this update.
