142nd Street Closure

 

Urbandale, IA – The City of Urbandale is beginning work on 142nd Street to install a four-lane roadway and storm sewer improvements.  The project includes 142nd Street from Oakwood Drive to Waterford Road, as well as an asphalt overlay from Waterford Road to Meadow Drive.  The intersection of 142nd Street and Waterford Road will be completely closed to all traffic beginning Monday, April 13, 2026.  This closure is expected to last until early July, weather permitting.  Detours will be posted.
