Alex Alstott is Sales Director at StructSolve Engineering, leading sales across Iowa and the Midwest. He joined in September 2025 after six years with Beacon Building Products, serving contractors statewide. A Fort Dodge native and 2011 Fort Dodge Senior High graduate, Alex played collegiate baseball at Iowa Central, Southern New Hampshire, and Concordia University, Nebraska, setting records before competing in professional slow-pitch. He remains active in the sport by mentoring young athletes and supporting high school programs. Alex and his fiancée live in Greenfield, Iowa, where they endured the EF4 tornado of May 2024, strengthening his community ties. At StructSolve, he brings a strong commitment to service, relationships, and helping realtors, lenders, homeowners, and contractors with trusted structural engineering solutions.

Hi, I’m Caleb Vorpahl, President of StructSolve Engineering. I started StructSolve with the goal of providing practical, reliable structural engineering solutions without overcomplicating the process. I enjoy working closely with clients, architects, and contractors to make sure designs are efficient, constructible, and actually work in the real world.

I take a hands-on approach to projects and care a lot about clear communication, thoughtful design, and delivering value to every team I work with.
