Summer Parks/Public Works Laborer
Under the general supervision of the Public Works Supervisor or Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation, performs manual labor for a variety of maintenance, operational and construction activities related to Public Works or Parks infrastructure, or service delivery. Performs heavy manual labor for extended periods; and works in adverse weather conditions. Summer Arboretum/Horticulture Intern
Reporting to the Parks Supervisor, this internship will offer a broad range of work experience in an arboretum to individuals interested in a career in public and ornamental horticulture. The internship will provide an opportunity to enhance creative problem solving skills as well as development practical career experience in public garden management.
