Service Route Driver

Job Overview:
This position will operate A King’s Throne fleet vehicle on a daily basis plus sanitize and repair portable toilets as needed on site or at yard based on direction of dispatcher and daily route activity.  Route Drivers will deliver, pickup portable restrooms in a safe, timely manner.  Demonstrates ability to handle problems that arise on the route in an efficient and professional demeanor combined with providing exceptional customer service.  Responsible for accurately logging daily service activities and effectively communicates ideas and suggestions for improvement with day to day operations. 
Essential Functions: 
  1. Driving and Route Responsibilities- Drive service truck to customer sites to clean, stock and repair equipment (including, but not limited to portable toilets, hand wash stations, holding tanks, water tanks, bathroom trailers) based on driver route.  Maintain time and production standards set for route.  Deliver and remove equipment based on your route – this involves loading and unloading the equipment.   Participate in an alternating schedule for weekends (Saturdays and Sundays), as needed.
  2. Maintenance- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspection of vehicle and provide daily maintenance of vehicle.  Fill out vehicle maintenance sheet daily to advise dispatch and management of any issues with the truck.  Make sure vehicle is properly stocked with supplies.  Keep exterior and interior of assigned vehicle clean.  Assist in the yard as needed and keeping yard clean and tidy.
  3.   Customer Service and Communication-Logging all information in the CRO dispatch application on the tablet.  Other duties as assigned and needed.  Training will be provided to ensure your success.

General Requirements:

High School Graduate or equivalent.  License (Class D2) and clean driving record are required, CDL Class B is preferred.  Previous driving experience is preferred and experience in portable sanitation is a plus.  Ability to navigate vehicles on tight roads and driveways, comfortable towing trailers.  Accountability to adhere to assigned routes, schedules and obey all safety procedures, and transportation laws.  Strong time management and customer service skills.  Mapping and Navigation skills needed.  Ability to work flexible hours, holidays and weekends.  Ability to work in fast paced environment.  Conversational English skills and ability to read English. Demonstrates professionalism to all customers, visitors, employees and vendors who do business with A King’s Throne.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 
Language:  English (Required).  Technology skill required:  Smartphone/tablet and GPS.  Works independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment while multitasking.  Displays attention to detail and follow-through.  Performs all work in a safe, timely, professional and efficient manner while effectively communicating and interacting with customers and office team.  General physical tasks could be described as periodic bending, twisting, lifting to 50 pounds individually and up to 80 pounds with assistance.  Ability to climb in and out of a truck 60+ times a day and other physical functions as necessary to accomplish the other listed essential duties of the position.   You are regularly exposed to outside weather conditions, moving mechanical parts, and fumes or airborne particles.  The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.  Hours:  Drivers workdays are typically 9-12 hours. Overtime and weekend work required as needed. Punctual, daily attendance is required.
