Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team. In this role, you will cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, driving trust and loyalty to maximize satisfaction and retention. You will strategically grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities within an assigned territory, ensuring sustainable growth and profitability.
As the primary point of contact for all client-related matters, you will collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences. This role is crucial in driving strategic growth by identifying market trends and expanding product penetration in the industrial packaging
Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, driving trust, satisfaction, and retention.
- Strategically grow existing accounts while actively pursuing new business opportunities within an assigned territory.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all client-related matters, ensuring exceptional customer experiences.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to maximize profitability while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with internal teams (including marketing, logistics, and product development) to ensure alignment on client needs and strategic initiatives.
- Track and analyze key account metrics, interpreting sales data and market trends to inform strategic decisions.
- Work alongside the sales manager to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities within the territory.
- Address challenging client requests and escalations, providing effective solutions to maintain strong client relationships.
- Proven experience in account management or relevant sales roles, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Experience in B2B sales, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to understand and fulfill customer needs with tailored solutions that drive value and satisfaction.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and ERP systems, with strong analytical skills to interpret sales metrics and market trends.
- Capacity to manage multiple projects with attention to detail and effective time management.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal abilities, fostering positive relationships and successful contract negotiations.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience Level: Minimum 1 year in account management or sales, with 3-5 years preferred.
- Preferred Language Requirement: Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred; ability to effectively communicate with a diverse customer base and team members is highly valued.
- Competitive Salary: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year base salary
