Palmer Group is partnering with a reputable client in the agriculture and construction equipment industry who is looking to add an Inside Sales Representative to their growing team. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be pivotal in supporting branch equipment sales and rentals by providing customer service for walk-in and phone-in customers.

  • Support all outside equipment sales efforts through building quotes, fleet management, paperwork processing, credit application & funding processes. 
  • Present and close equipment rental deals as well as smaller equipment sales while forwarding leads for larger sales to the Outside Sales Rep
  • Respond promptly and professionally to inbound inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable products or solutions
  • Generate and follow up on sales leads to convert them into opportunities
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and customer interactions 
  • Coordinate delivery and movement of equipment to customer sites and company locations
  • Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to communicate product features and benefits effectively


  • 3+ years of proven experience in inside sales, preferably in the agricultural and construction equipment industry
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to use their operating system, CRM, and manufacturer websites 
  • Must have Microsoft Office skills, including Excel 
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on delivering results
  • Competitive in nature, ambitious, and positive personality
  • A self-starter with a passion for sales and customer satisfaction
