Field Service Technician (41169)

Palmer Group is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician to look after our client's customers' service and maintenance needs. As a field service technician, you must travel to client locations, install new equipment, respond to service requests, troubleshoot equipment issues, and provide technical training on company equipment. Responsibilities:

• Respond to customer callouts and field dispatches
• Meet with the customer to determine the nature of the service or repair
• Conduct routine equipment servicing out in the field
• Complete job reports
• Advise and train customers on the equipment
• Provide technical phone support for troubleshooting and supporting colleagues
• Install and test new equipment

Requirements:

• Proven work experience as a field service technician with electromechanical, pneumatic, or hydraulic equipment
• Two-year technical degree preferred
• Mechanical and electrical skills
• Good communication and training skills
• Ability to interpret electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schematics
• Valid US passport and up-to-date state driver’s license
