System Security Manager (46157)

Palmer Group has partnered with a local client in their search for a System Security Manager. This individual will be responsible for analyzing the security systems and looking for abnormalities and potential indicators of compromise. If you are interested in this position, apply today!

Work model:

• On-Site

• Perform daily tasks and monitor and analyze the security systems for any anomalies and potential indicators of compromise
• Develop new or enhance current security strategies and procedures to mitigate potential risks/threats
• Administer the security systems to ensure reliabilities, identify vulnerable areas, and implement or recommend solutions to enhance/strengthen the systems
• Research and provide recommendations to elevate the overall security posture of IT
• Manage and evaluate the performance and production of the Security team

• Prior experience in Network/System administration and/or Network Security Analysis
• Knowledgeable in the following, but not limited to, Endpoint and Network detection and response (EDR and NDR), SIEM solutions, Privilege access management (PAM), Application whitelisting, NextGen firewalls, MITRE ATT&CK and NIST Cybersecurity frameworks
• Proficient in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems, Office365, Azure, Active Directory, and networking protocols
