Printer Operator (43974)

Palmer Group has partnered with this reputable client on their search for a Printer Operator on a contract basis. In this role, you will produce printed output and other materials utilizing assigned printing machinery. If this opportunity interests you, apply now!

Responsibilities:

• Operate various types of high-speed printers
• Review daily production runs to understand scope and parameters of print jobs
• Determine quantities required for print job
• Match materials required for each print job per job request
• Configure and align printers
• Inspect random production samples to evaluate quality of printings
• Maintain inventory of supplies needed to operate printers
• Troubleshoot issues with printers and basic repairs
• Draft and submit reports for daily production totals
• Uphold a clean area around printers
• Perform other task as needed

• Outstanding verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printers and related software
• Ability to adhere to instructions
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. of weight for up to 1/3 of the time
• Willingness to work on evenings, nights, and weekends as needed to meet deadlines

• 9:00 PM - 5:00 AM
• Monday - Friday, overtime as needed
