What you will do:
- Assist with implementing and supporting new and existing technologies in production
- Maintain high levels of customer service by responding to business partners’ calls, emails, and instant messages
- Interact directly with business partners to identify, research, document, design solutions, and resolve issues
- Learn and contribute to understanding technical functionality, usability, design, security, and operation of supported systems
- Research complex solutions independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Develop applications in a hybrid-Agile environment
- Communicate technical concepts to business stakeholders and business objectives to technical teams across the organization
- Train and educate users and initiate preventative technical measures when appropriate
What you need to be successful:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in technology, science, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- Relevant internship or experience in IT customer service, IT support, or IT troubleshooting roles
- Strong technical and engineering mindset with a focus on root cause analysis and problem ownership
- Interest or experience in application development with Microsoft Power Suite, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Salesforce, or other platforms
- Strong problem-solving and conceptual skills
- Excellent planning, organizational, analytical, decision-making, communication, and time management skills
- Desire and ability to learn new technology and continuously grow, including collaborating with both IT and non-IT partners
- Ability to maintain a high degree of accuracy and confidentiality
- Basic knowledge of insurance and financial services products preferred
