Radiology Technologist (Full-Time)

As a Radiology Technologist at Exemplar, you will directly and positively impact the health and well-being of our patients. You will:

  • Position patient correctly for radiological procedures
  • Operate x-ray machine according to established procedures to ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Review and evaluate images to determine quality and if they need to be redone
  • Answer patient questions as they relate to the procedure
  • Operate within radiological standards of care
  • Maintain radiology equipment
  • Document patient care records in accordance with outlined policies and procedures
  • Manage urgent care desk at times, perform clerical work, demographics, insurance verification, answer telephones, schedule patients, patient follow-up calls
  • Greet patients, answer questions, and comfort family members
  • Assist with collecting and recording co-pays (cash and/or charge) including balancing the day in the computer
  • Assist with safe patient handling in or outside of patient care areas
  • Assist providers, paramedic, and physician staff with procedures and treatments
  • Work both independently and with a team
  • Provide education related to the patient's health needs and provide community resources as needed
  • Ensure systems and processes are being followed and ensure the clinical quality of the services performed


  • Must live within 30 minutes of the Urgent Care location
  • AART permit in the state of Iowa
  • BLS Certification
  • Valid driver's license and no prior restrictions/penalties on state-issued healthcare licenses

Position Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: $30,000-$50,000
