Position Summary:

· Write weekly schedules

· Manage staff including receiving phone calls & messages

· Cover shifts as needed

· Hiring and training new staff

· Provides leadership for scheduled shifts to provide a quality guest service experience.

· Trains, mentors and coaches participant team members to develop job readiness skills.


Train, coach and develop team in areas including: Twisted Bean Coffee Company culture, systems, policies and procedures, personal growth, operational and financial knowledge interpersonal skills, and organizational techniques.

• Interact with, direct and supervise employees on a daily basis in a fair and dignified manner.

• Lead by example and promote teamwork among co-workers and employees.

• Be accountable for all facets of the operation during assigned shifts.

• Train and model excellent customer service and sales interactions for participant staff.

• Perform varied duties to ensure proper coffee shop operation according to standard operating procedure.

• Be “hands on” with all positions to ensure smooth and efficient service.

• Assure compliance with and uphold applicable policies and requirements of employment laws.

• Assure and maintain food quality standards including consistency and presentation.

• Fully understand and practice the Twisted Bean Coffee Company philosophies, Employee Handbook and employee benefits.

• Complete projects as assigned in a timely manner.

• Comprehend and adhere to sanitation guidelines as prescribed by federal, state, and local regulations.

• Be able to stand and walk for an entire shift.

• Communicate in effectively in order to comprehend and perform/follow job requirements in written and spoken direction.

• Accept direction and constructive feedback from management.

• Perform calmly and effectively in an extremely busy and stressful work environment.

• Be able to work a variety of hours, days and shifts including weekends and increased work schedules.

• Work in a confined, crowded space of variable noise and temperature levels.

• Frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

GENERAL RULES Must be willing and able to do the following:

• Follow all uniform and appearance guidelines as befitting the image of the restaurant for the duration of the shift.

• Follow all rules, policies, procedures and conditions of employment outlined in the Employee Handbook.

• May not resort to any type of violence, discriminatory or harassing behavior.


• Ability to develop and engage team members to ensure they meet training and skill development benchmarks.

• Ability lead a team for assigned shifts in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

• Ability to work and communicate effectively with people of diverse ethnic, economic, racial and cultural backgrounds.

• One year of restaurant, retail or guest service training experience in a small venue/ fast casual setting.

• One year of Barista or Wine and Beer Service experience in a full service coffee shop setting or Fast Casual Restaurant.

• Computer experience and skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

• Must be able to perform all essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

• Must have reliable vehicle for transportation

• Must be 18 years or older

• Hours: Monday-Sunday 5am-6pm

• Compensation includes base salary, bonus's, tips & benefits
