Mechanical Engineer (40999)

This position will be involved with projects from inception through completion, and engineers will be heavily involved in every aspect of the design/manufacturing process. Responsibilities:

• Design custom systems for a variety of customers, working with all involved stakeholders until project completion
• Identify areas for quality and process improvement throughout the design of systems
• Develop SOP’s for equipment
• Work with sales to ensure specs are met during the initial sales proposal
• Communicate with the service team and customers to support needs
• Calculate material needed
• Communicate with vendors, customers, manufacturing, and engineering to uphold project integrity
• Act as an employee-owner- continuously looking for new and innovative ways to improve the build/design process

Requirements:

• 4-year technical degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of one or both of thermodynamics and fluid dynamics
• Strong skills in 3D CAD software
• Hands-on attitude with a desire and passion for engineering/building
