Customer Service Representative -48149

Our Johnston client is seeking a reliable Customer Service Representative to join their mid-sized, growing finance company. This contract role will review contracts for accuracy and control every aspect of the contract process. This position is currently remote but will move to the Johnston, Iowa, office in the future. What you will do:
  • Provide customer service via the telephone
  • Contact customers via phone or email to solicit and enroll customers into direct debit and email invoicing
  • Build and maintain relationships with vendors and/or lessees
  • Direct debit ACH Account Maintenance, and process maintenance journal requests
  • Answer incoming customer calls
  • Process address changes
  • Process requests for lease documentation and fee waiver requests
  • Perform account audits and reconciliation
  • Process insurance cancellation requests and payments by phone
  • Adjust grace periods, add purchase order numbers, adjust due dates, and process outside vendor requests
  • Complete credit reference requests, process lease assignment requests, and process tax requests, as appropriate
What you will need to be successful:
  • High school diploma and some college preferred
  • 6 months to 2 years of customer service experience
  • Call center customer service experience is highly preferred
  • Experience within the financial services industry is preferred
  • Technical/functional skills and knowledge
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Understanding and ability to perform basic math functions
  • Knowledge of the leasing industry is preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic PC skills

Salary Range: $30,000-$50,000
