MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Greg Thompson, ActionCoach, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate. Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.
This month is focused on Diversity and Inclusion. DEI has been a major focus the past couple of years and Shabel Solutions will be providing a few reasons why business should focus on DEI.

With over 25 years of diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) and human resources practitioner experience in Iowa and beyond, Schabel Solutions knows what it takes to develop and implement effective DEI programs. Since 2016, Schabel Solutions has been leveraging its experience and expertise as a full-service strategic DEI consulting partner helping other organizations develop and implement innovative diversity and inclusion programs to build more collaborative, engaged and productive workplaces and workforces. More specifically, Schabel Solutions aims to normalize inclusive behaviors and help its clients build the skills, plans, confidence and workplace cultures needed to address the dangers of unmitigated unconscious bias, untapped talent, missed market opportunities and stagnant innovation. Brad Schabel brings more than 15 years of human resources, diversity, equity and inclusion, compliance, operations and team leadership experience to his current role as Chief Operating Officer of Schabel Solutions. This includes five years of experience managing the Affirmative Action/Equal Employment Opportunity (AA/EEO) and pay equity programs of Principal Financial Group while helping lead and execute the organization’s diversity, equity and inclusion programs. He has served as a board member of the Equal Employment Advisory Council (now the Center for Workplace Compliance), a national trade association, based in Washington D.C., dedicated to the advancement of practical and effective AA/EEO compliance programs to eliminate workplace discrimination. |
