Description
The Central Iowa Business Academy is a 6-part leadership series that kicks off with a Strength's Discovery on May 4th.
Future sessions include:
- June 15th - Communicating like a Leader
- August 17th - Art of Negotiation
- October 19th - Leading Across the Generational Divides
- December 21st - Time Management in 5 steps
- February 15, 2023 - Coaching - The Art of Improvement
Members are able to attend all six sessions, which includes the session, materials and lunch for only $350. Guests (non-members of the Chamber) may also attend for $500 per person.

Strength's Discovery
Before you can lead or coach anyone else, you must first know yourself. Discovering the source of your greatness begins with identifying the ways in which you most naturally think, feel, and behave - our talents. And, this workshop's tool of choice for identifying your talent DNA is the Clifton StrengthsFinder®.
Once you have completed the Clifton StrengthsFinder® assessment and reviewed your Strengths Insight Guide, you will participate in a StrengthsDiscovery workshop with Strengths MasterCoach, Angela Ihry. In this workshop, you will begin to understand your areas of greatest potential. Your talents. And how to turn those talents into strengths and use them to become a leader that inspires high employee engagement.
We are asking participants to take the assessment in advance of the class on May 4th. This will allow participants to have a more meaningful experience reviewing and discussing their own strengths.

Angela Ihry is certified in StrengthsMastery by the Roy West Companies. She has been helping individuals, couples and small businesses communicate more effectively since 2009. Her passion is to help us understand the uniqueness of each person and how we can use that information to form long-lasting, meaningful relationships. |
