His talk\, "Big Data is the Future\," will highlight the importance of analytics in the world of business\, and will include some examples of how business are using data collection on a daily basis. There will be time for questions at the end of his presentation. \n\n\n\n\nSpeaker: Dean David Spalding\, Iowa State University\, College of Business\n\n\n\n\n\nLocation: Embassy Club West (520 Market Street\, West Des Moines)\n\nCost: $25/members $35/nonmembers\n\n\n\nThank you to this month's sponsors: Ben Buenzow State Farm Insurance and First National Bank. \n\nDeadline to register is 48 hours before event. Any registration that comes in after this deadline will be put on a waiting list and billed an additional $5 (if space allows).\n\nPrepayment is highly encouraged and appreciated.\n\nReservations not kept will be billed.\n\n\n\nRegistrations must be cancelled the day prior to the luncheon by 12 pm in order to receive a credit.
