DESCRIPTION:Come enhance your leadership skills with State Senator Zach Nunn \n\n\n\n\n\n \n\nSenator Zach Nunn is serving a career defending our nation's freedom with the U.S. military. A decorated battlefield veteran\, Senator Nunn deployed three times to operations in Iraq and Afghanistan flying 700-combat hours with the US Air Force. Together\, his team provided life-saving support to Special Operations Forces and earned "Best Aircrew of the Year." He also served on the White House's National Security Council as Director of Cybersecurity and is the recipient of the National Intelligence Service Medallion for defense against foreign threats.\n\nPreviously\, Senator Nunn served as legislative staff for Senator Grassley\, worked as a military legislative affairs officer for a 4-Star General\, and is an adjunct professor at Drake University. He also served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives as House Majority Whip and Assistant Majority Leader from 2014-2018.\n\nTogether\, Zach and his wife\, Kelly\, also an Altoona native\, own and operate a small business in Bondurant.  They love raising their kids Addi\, Canon\, Olympia and baby Selwyn.\n\n\n\nThis workshop series is designed to provide young professionals with information to excel in their professional and civic endeavors. The series includes 4 different workshop classes (2 additional listed below).
