What you will do:

• Cultivate and oversee a portfolio of commercial clients by identifying their financial objectives and tailoring solutions to meet their needs
• Evaluate financial statements and design loan structures that align with internal banking policies
• Facilitate discussions on loan terms, including repayment strategies and collateral arrangements
• Draft and deliver loan proposals to internal credit committees when required\
• Verify that all loan documentation is accurate and adheres to regulatory and institutional standards
• Conduct periodic assessments of commercial accounts to ensure ongoing creditworthiness
• Collaborate with treasury management and other departments to introduce and promote additional banking services
• Engage actively in community initiatives and professional networks to enhance the bank’s presence and reputation

What you will need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or a comparable combination of education and professional experience
• 4+ years of experience in a lending-related position
• Background in commercial and industrial lending, commercial real estate financing, and SBA lending is highly desirable
• Prior experience in managing loan portfolios is preferred
