Palmer Group is currently recruiting a Payroll & Billing Specialist to join our client's team. In this position you will be responsible for the weekly distribution of payroll checks and processing customer invoicing. This role is fit for candidates that possess a professional demeanor and prior payroll experience.   • Review approved employment forms for accuracy regarding payment of wages
  • Prepare and enter payroll data while reviewing any discrepancies
  • Process and prepare payroll checks
  • Maintain files for employees, payroll records, and billing records
  • Be responsible for unscheduled payroll transactions including voiding unused checks, issuing stop payment orders, and issuing replacement checks
  • Handle various payroll adjustments
  • Prepare periodic payroll analysis, production records, and customer-related billing reports
  • Process billing- prepare and submit invoices
  • Assist customers with billing questions, customer website entry, and various other issues
  • Associate degree in accounting, finance, or related field required, bachelor's preferred
  • 1-3 years' of relevant experience required
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Advanced oral and written communication skills

Hours: 8:00AM-5:00PM Monday-Friday
