 MOXIE (Member Owners eXchange Information & Experience) is a group of member business Owners/Presidents who meet monthly with Greg Thompson, ActionCoach, to discuss issues impacting their businesses. All member Business Owners/Presidents are invited to participate.  Everyone must sign a confidentiality clause.

This month's featured speaker is Kurt Pearson, Founder of Compass Financial Services talking on Company Culture.

Great companies have minimal dysfunction, clear objectives, consistent leadership and a cultural fit of each team member.  Culture helps retain team members.  Culture is a precursor to creativity.  Culture is necessary for effective marketing and sales. You would probably agree that we are all just one creative idea away from a breakout year!  Top line revenue growth requires our creative best. The premise I know and believe is that time invested in “culture work” is a necessity to remain competitive. 

Kurt's Bio:

Kurt is a pilgrim who enjoys long hikes in a hardwood forest, a bonfire in the fall and a snowshoe walk on a cold winter day. In his spare time you can find Kurt doing a prairie grass burn, hugging that special oak tree or introducing his grandchildren to the wonders of creation.
