Description

Do you have what it takes to cross the finish line first?! Come connect with genYP members and members of Ankeny's YP group in a unique environment while racing high-speed go-karts at MB2 Raceway. Prizes are awarded for the top finishers in each heat. The grand prize for the top finisher will be a big screen TV, donated by Shade Tree Auto!!

Location: MB2 Raceway (1350 SE Gateway Dr. Ste. 108, Grimes). They are located 1 1/2 miles north of I-80/35, just west of Highway 141 in Grimes. Their front door and parking are on the west side of the building directly behind SkyZone.

Cost: $30 (Cost includes two races - one qualifying race and a final race and pizza)

If you aren't into racing, but still want to be a part of this event, you are welcome to register and pay $10 (to cover cost of food) and network with everyone and cheer on the racers!

Time: 5-7 pm (please arrive 15 minutes early and plan to stay the duration of the event). You won't want to miss the grand finale that includes pitting 3 genYP Leadership Team members against 3 AYP board members for a winner take all race for pride, glory and the genYPrix Cup!!

Important notes for racers:

Please arrive by 4:45 pm so we can ensure that everyone has registered and will be ready to go on time.
If you have not already registered with them, please visit the pre-registration page to enter your details and make sure you use the EVENT CODE: 55439 (If you fail to pre-register there can be delays in getting your event started on time). Please click here to pre-register.
MB2 raceway is on a strict time schedule. If your entire party is not present at the time of your race,MB2 cannot wait or postpone your race time. Your party will be required to race with those that are present. You will be required to pay the flat rate which includes the cost of all racers even if they did not arrive on time or chose not to race.=
Closed toed shoes are required and hair past shoulder length should be pulled back while racing.
